Mountainside Ministry Training Centre

Mountainside Ministry Training Centre provides 4 months of biblical theology and an 18-month internship to prepare you for career ministry. Our North American training centre is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Montana and shared by both the Canadian and US offices.
What to Expect
While at our Mountainside Ministry Training Center (MMT), students benefit from a variety of classes presented in a modular style. These concentrated courses allow trainees to focus on one primary subject at a time while getting to know the visiting instructors who have expertise in their fields of study or ministry.
Students also benefit through the family-style accommodation. As relationships grow, they learn to work as a team–a skill that’s needed on the mission field.
Classes
Internship
An eighteen-month internship follows successful completion of the four-month training program. Most interns serve with seasoned IM staff in Europe, South America, or Africa. They are not required to speak a foreign language.
Interns may be involved in ministries including Evangelistic English Camps, teaching English as a second language, leading children’s and youth ministry, and leading small group Bible studies and preaching.
Costs
Individuals – $6,500 total
Couples – $12,000 total
This includes: lodging, food, all training expenses, living and local ministry expenses during the training. There are additional costs for children.
For Churches
MMT enables the local church to equip and send missionaries from their fellowship.
This is an excellent investment of mission funds and we encourage the sending church to provide up to 50% of the support needed by the missionary intern.
The amount of support raised should cover the entire training and internship period. Mountainside Ministry Training is committed to keeping this experience as affordable as possible and will provide training in raising prayer and financial support.
